Cumbria North County Camp @ Blaithwaite
Jul 24 – Jul 28 all-day

Where and when: All Guides in Cumbria North are invited to next year’s County Camp at Blaithwaite House near Wigton, from Monday 24th July—Friday 28th July.
What’s On: There are a huge variety of activities available at Blaithwaite, and the price includes eight sessions each! You can choose from mountain boarding, buggy building, bushcraft, blind trail, tree climbing, bouldering wall, archery, orienteering, pioneering, team building activities, craft room and crafty workshop.
There’s More: The camp will also involve a trip to Edinburgh Zoo, there will be a disco and of course a massive group camp fire!
Cost: We are lucky that County have subsidised the cost of the exclusive use of the site, to the tune of £7,000! This means that we have been able to keep the cost to a minimum and so is £135 per girl.
What if my leaders can’t go? If your leaders are unable to go, you are still welcome to come and join with other girls in your division.
Want to join in the fun? If you would like to attend, please complete the slip below and send the first instalment of £50 to your leader by Monday 21st October. A further £50 will be payable by 28th January, and the final payment of £35 by 28th April. Unfortunately the payments are not refundable.
What happens next? Further details including consent and health forms will follow nearer the time. If you have any questions about the camp, please ask you leader— if she can’t answer, she’ll know how to find out!
